Ho soggiornato al B&B Elmagos con la mia compagna la notte di Natale e il 26 dicembre 2011. Accogliente, pulito, ben arredato, fuori dalla confusione ma vicino al centro! La colazione è come a casa, te la prepari come ti fa più comodo e c'è tutto il necessario. Bravi i proprietari che sono molto disponibili e premurosi. Un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

"December 2011 - Short stay"

From the first time I made contact with the owner and througout our stay I was very satisfied. The booking process was clear and simple and all the pre-trip questions were answered very promptly. We were given very easy to follow directions to find the b&b using public transport.
The standard of accommodation is excellent and was in my opinion very good value for money. The purpose of our trip was to attend a football match and we stayed at Elmagos for two nights.
There was a wide range of information available for visitors and in a number of languages. The owners were also very keen to help us during our stay. I particularly enjoyed the fact that the self catering layout ensured that we could enjoy our breakfast at a time that suited our needs. The continental style breakfast was enjoyable and an ample amount was provided for us with fresh supplies provided for the second day of our stay.
On our day of departure there was a public transport strike and we were offered a lift to the main bus station. Again this was very much appreciated by us.
The room we had would be very suitable for a family or for up to 4 people happy to share.
While the purpose of our visit was mainly to attend a football match we did have some opportunity to walk around the town. The weather was poor with rain most of our visit so I cannot say too much more about the town. We did spend two enjoyable evenings in the Black Stuff Pub, and I would recommend this to any visitor looking for an enjoyable drink in a friendly atmosphere.
Travel to and from Trieste airport was ok with an hourly bus service and took just over an hour.
In conclusion I would highly recommend this B&B and would have no hesitation in staying here aagain should be in the area.

"A wonderful apartment at B&B prices"

This is a real find: a modern apartment with well appointed kitchen, living room entrance area with TV and sofa, 4 piece bathroom with washing machine and a choice of either 1 or 2 bedrooms; well tested air conditioning (in July!); a beautiful flowered private garden in a quiet residential area, just a few minutes south of the train station; in Udine, a small but very interesting city, not yet discovered by the hordes of tourists but offering interesting architecture, history, museums, churches, piazzas, restaurants and bars and also close to shopping centre and large grocery stores. But best of all are the hosts Marina and children, who spoke English to my wife, and Agostino who spoke Italian and Furlan to me. They were wonderfully helpful and welcoming and made us feel at home. We stayed here for 6 nights but would have stayed much longer if it had been available. Udine is a great destination, whether you want to explore this corner of Italy at the confluence of 3 cultures or are using it as a base to visit the land of your parents and grand-parents. It was less than an hour's drive to the very interesting towns of Palmanova, Aquileia, Spilimbergo, Cividale, Cormons and Gorizia and to the wine region stretching from Tarcento to Cividale to Gorizia, but you will find wineries elsewhere as well. Also close were the beaches of Grado and Lignano. Udine was well situated for day trips (by train) to Venice or by car to Pordenone, Trieste, Ljubljana (Slovenia), Piran (Slovenian coast) or north into the Alps to Tarvisio and Villach (Austria) or to Tolmezzo and Pieve di Cadore. I had the change to experience the hospitality of mediterranean country. udine is a small city to enjoy and visit some historical places. But first of all i met fantastic people there...the accommadition comfortable enough for four persons. after these facilities, now i always prefer to stay in such a house in natural surroundings. flowers all arround the house...

"Torneremo l'anno prossimo!!"

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo delizioso b&b per 3 notti, conosciamo abbastanza bene la città ed i dintorni, veniamo a Udine almeno 1 volta all'anno per incontrarci con dei cari amici.Eravano alla ricerca di una soluzione che potesse darci indipendenza e tranquillità. Abbiamo abitato in questo delizioso appartamento indipendente e completo di tutto al primo piano di una villetta circondata da un bel giardino accogliente. La posizione è strategica: il centro città si raggiunge in pochi minuti, nella zona ci sono supermercati e servizi, il quartiere è silezioso e tranquillo. Prima colazione self service senza problemi di orario, ambiente paicevole e cura nei dettagli, ottimo per famiglie ma anche per coppie di amici. Ringraziamo di nuovo i gestori e sicuramente ci rivedremo l'anno prossimo!!! un caro saluto dalla Toscana!!!

"Where else would you possibly stay?"

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Marina speaks English, so communication is easy for non-Italian speakers.
One of our goals was to do some genealogy research, Marina set us up with an appointment at the Archives which was amazing! Would have missed out entirely if not for her help!
Lots of local information and help. 2.2 km from the Railway Station. We rented a car, easy parking and navigation, and a bus stop just outside (which we never needed to use).
Large, comfortable apartment. Very clean, well laid out. Nice garden where we had morning coffee, and occasional evening wine. Generous breakfast with yogurt, coffee, juices, milk, assorted packaged baked goods.
Local Restaurant was one of our favorites in Italy. Pizzeria Ristorante Da Mario Di Panico Luisa. (less than 1 km away)
Tip: Let them know how to help you, I'm sure you will be surprised at what they can do for you.

"Un B&B? Praticamente come essere a casa propria - Ottimo"

Ci siamo ritrovati piacevolmente in un appartamento al piano rialzato di una villetta. Il B&B è realmente un appartamento con due camere, bagno, ampia cucina e soggiorno. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e disponibili. Peccato aver dimenticato la bottiglia di vino di produzione locale che ci era stata gentilmente offerta. Assolutamente raccomandato anche in relazione al rapporto prezzo/qualità

"For a perfect time in Udine"

We stayed the second time in Udine in B&B ElmAgos, and it was just perfect like the first time 3 years ago. In a quite, family atmosphere, with superb hosts - it was just like home. The spacious apartment is equipped with everything you could need, from fridge to coffee machine. I can just recommend ElmAgos - if we travel again to Udine we will stay there again.

"Buona base per visitare il Friuli"

Un bell'appartamento, molto grande, con un'ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, in zona tranquilla alla periferia sud di Udine. L'appartamento è situato al primo piano di una villetta con giardino, con accesso indipendente tramite scala esterna. E' situato nelle vicinanze dei raccordi autostradali, base adatta a rapide visite ad Aquileia, laguna di Grado, Palmanova ed allo straordinario "paese delle meridiane" Aiello del Friuli. I padroni di casa sono stati molto gentili ricevendoci con il simpatico omaggio di una bottiglia di vino... Da consigliare a tutti gli amanti della tranquillità.

"Paradiso dei B&B"

Sul manuale, alla voce B&B si trova "Elmagos". Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è di altissimo livello: prezzo conveniente e qualità eccelsa. Quanto viene offerto non si limita ad una semplice camera, ma ad un appartamento vero e proprio: camera, ampio bagno, salotto con tv e cucina. I gestori ti fanno sentire subito a casa: il bello è che l'appartamento si trova al piano superiore, e si accede con scala esterna, per cui si ha la massima indipendenza. Per colazione ce n'è per tutti i gusti: caffè, te, biscotti, merendine varie e abbondanti, marmellate, nutella, fette biscottate, yogurt.
La zona è tranquilla, ma vicina al centro. E qui si vede l'attenzione ai particolari che caratterizza Elmagos: cartine di Udine, numero del taxi, orario delle corriere. Volete una pizza la sera? C'è il numero della pizza a domicilio. Un ristorante? Ampia scelta di biglietti da visita. Cosa vedere in Friuli? Guide e libri sul tema. Per andare a dormire si vuole un secondo cuscino? E' accuratamente "imbustato" nell'armadio. Lavatrice, phon e mocio inclusi. Insomma: Elmagos è il B&B che ognuno spera di prenotare.
Ci tengo a tranquillizzare che non è pubblicità, come potrebbe sembrare dai toni enfatici: semplicemente sono rimasto così contento della mia esperienza, che voglio vivamente consigliarlo a tutte le persone interessate.

"un piacevole soggiorno ad Udine."

Quattro giorni di relax in una graziosa casa decorata con molto gusto e perfettamente attrezzata per accogliere una famiglia in completa libertà: dal phon, al riscaldamento autonomo, dalle belle stovoglie da cucina (niente plastica!) all'ampia scelta per la colazione, da armadi e cassetti a disposizione a un'ampia fornitura di cuscini e coperte in più. La chiave di casa è a disposizione degli ospiti e la casa è completamente indipendente quindi si può andare e venire a qualsiasi ora senza timore di disturbare i padroni di casa. Udine è una graziosa, tranquilla città mitteleuropea di grande fascino e con un po' di sole (e noi ne abbiamo avuto!) è davvero piacevole da passeggiare. Poco oltre la casa c'è la campagna in cui abbiamo fatto una bella passeggiata, per noi che veniamo dalla megalopoli è un privilegio! di fronte alla casa c'è la fermata dell'autobus che va in stazione e di lì raggiungere Venezia per lo splendido Carnevale è stato facile e comodo. I prezzi sono decisamente ragionevoli e diminuiscono all'aumentare del soggiorno. L'unico appunto: il telecomando della TV non funziona granché, forse le pile sono scariche? non che la TV sia indispensabile in vacanza! Insomma siamo stati davvero bene e speriamo di poter approfittare ancora dell'ospitalità di ElmAgos

“Ottimo”

Ottimo servizio, titolari del beb molto cordiali e discreti, devo dire che ho avuto un ottimo servizio...luogo molto tranquillo, molto vicino a udine...di conseguenza mi sono trovato molto a mio agio,mi sono rilassato per la tranquillita del luogo, lo consiglierei senza ombra di dubbio.....grazie spero di tornarci presto...

"Ottimo! Come una casa di famiglia."

Che posso dire del soggiorno ad Elmagos? Che assolutamente lo consiglio a chiunque debba soggiornare ad Udine. Ci sono stata per qualche giorno insieme a degli amici e tutti siamo rimasti estremamente soddisfatti! Il B&B è situato in una zona tranquilla della città. Non è in centro, ma è collegato alla stazione da un bus che passa proprio sotto casa e, se muniti di auto, il centro della città è raggiungibile in dieci minuti. L'appartamento a disposizione degli ospiti è davvero accogliente, pulito e dotato di ogni comodità, comprese la prima colazione e la pulizia quotidiana di casa, ad un prezzo davvero contenuto! L'ospitalità dei padroni di casa, è speciale.

“Ottimo per gruppi di amici!!!”

In pratica si ha un appartamento al prezzo (tra l'altro molto conveniente) di un bed & breakfast!!! Eravamo in 7 e ci siamo trovati veramente bene con tutta l'indipendenza che ci serviva. L'ospite tra l'altro ci ha accolto offrendoci una bottiglia di vino liquoroso-che abbiamo gustato accompagnato da alcuni dolci veramente ottimi

“Not just a B&B!”

We stayed for 6 nights at Elmagos and it was a delight! Although advertised as B&B it is really an apartment although you can choose to have breakfast included if you wish. We chose to self-cater and the large kitchen is perfectly equipped for simple meals. There are two good-sized bedrooms , bathroom and a cozy living room - ideal for two but would accommodate four very comfortably. There is also a tiny balcony (just big enough for two!) The apartment is on the upper floor with the owners living below but has its own entrance and is completely private. The owners have a lovely garden which we didn't make use of but is available for guests. The owners themselves have the perfect balance of being very friendly and approachable and keen to give you any assistance and local information you need but at the same time are very discrete and don't impose themselves on you or intrude on your privacy.
The apartment is in a quiet residential area a few minutes drive from the centre and also not far from the motorway which is useful if you want to take some longer trips. Udine is a delightful town and the whole area is full of interest both historically and scenically. For anyone interested in the First World War try a visit to the suberb museum in Gorizia which really gives an insight into the war in this area and then take a lovely drive along the Isonzo River (in Slovenia but no passport controls) to Kobarid (Caporetto) to see the main area that was fought over. From Kobarid there is an easy valley road back to Udine via Cividale which is another town worth visiting.
Having visited most parts of Italy over the last 25 years we were struck by the friendliness of everyone we encountered (even in the tourist information office!) - perhaps because there are still not all that many tourists and certainly very few from UK. I'd certainly recommend a visit to Friuli and can't think that there would be anywhere better than Elmagos to use as a base.

“Per chi vuole il meglio in Friuli e' il B & B giusto”

non ero mai stato in friuli (solo in transito), la regione e' bellissima, storia, bellezze della natura, ottima cucina, vini eccellenti. consiglio per chi vuole visitare questa regione il B & B Elmagos per i seguenti motivi: ci si' puo' muovere per tutta la regione comodamente, e' alla periferia di Udine in una zona tranquillissima, l'appartamento ben arredato e' situato al 1 piano di una villa. l'interno e' adatto a famiglie, coppie e compagnie di amici. i proprietari sono persone squisitissime, discrete e affabili. quando ritornero' a fare il turista in friuli so gia' dove ritornare a pernottare

"Il piacere di ritornare..."

Erano parecchi anni che non alloggiavo in un B&B e tra l'altro mai fatto in Italia. Per questo motivo ero molto in ansia per questa scelta. tutto è andato bene. Il B&B Elmagos è molto carino. Si trova vicino alla stazione ma in un contesto tranquillo. Si ha l'impressione di stare in campagna. Si tratta infatti di un vero e proprio appartamento al secondo piano di una villetta. Ampio, luminoso perfettamente attrezzato e arredato con gusto e particolari. L'accesso è autonomo e questo rende molto rilassante le entrate e uscite. Intorno alla casa c'è un bellissimo giardino da osservare dall'alto curatissimo e pieno di splendide piante grasse. I miei bambini si sono trovati a loro agio. I proprietari sono molto cortesi e gentili. Noi eravamo in macchina ma ci sono autobus che ti portano alla stazione vicinissima. Direi un ottimo punto di appoggio per visitare Udine e non solo. Venezia e Trieste sono raggiungibili con il treno.

"A truly great place to holiday in Italy!!!"

Staying here was a really good choice. You think you're outside Udine but it works very well. Our hosts were very friendly in the true sense of the word. You actually felt taken care of here. Highly reccomend ElmAgos and the wonderful city of Udine to all. Ask to look at the garden of the owners

"Sentirsi proprio a casa - ma con qualcosa in più!........"

 "Si sta' bene a "Elmagos" ? .....si sta' bene proprio come a casa, ma con qualcosa in più! " questa è la risposta semplice e sintetica di mio figlio Matteo ( 8 anni), alla quale ci uniamo.
Ma a differenza di Matteo, noi (che abbiamo soggiornato in numerosissimi B&B di quasi tutta Europa) possiamo definire "quel qualcosa in più !" .
Ordine e pulizia impeccabili, ambiente tranquillo ed accogliente arredato con gusto e originalità in una posizione altrettanto tranquilla ma ben servita.
Completa indipendenza negli orari.
Discrezione, cortesia e disponibilita' totali nonchè una particolare attenzione nella cura dei dettagli, fanno si' che "ELMAGOS" resti tra i B&B a noi più graditi !
( e vi garantisco....... ne abbiamo visti davvero tanti tra Francia, Austria, Germania, Inghilterra- Scozia e Irlanda !) Sandro Marilena Matteo

“Soggiorno breve, ma intenso"

L'appartamento è dotato di tutti i comfort, è ben arredato e possiede tutto quello che un bravo turista vorrebbe trovare (phon,doccia,asse e ferro da stiro,riscaldamento,tv con digitale). Il personale è gentilissimo, educato e riservato. Possiede anche di un piano cottura e di un'ampia cucina in cui fare liberamente colazione.
L'appartamento, circondato da tanto verde, si trova un pò in periferia di Udine, ma si può arrivare in centro sia con la navetta (la fermata è a due passi) che a piedi dal momento che è un quartiere molto tranquillo.
Il nostro soggiorno è stato breve, ma i proprietari sono stati disponibilissimi anche nel fornirci le giuste informazioni su cosa visitare della città.
Superconsigliato.

"Ottima Base per Visitare il Friuli Venezia Giulia"

Ottima soluzione questo B&B per visitare l'intera regione. Oltre alla sua posizione strategica, la sua ubicazione nella tranquilla periferia residenziale di Udine, in una bella villetta con giardino, rende il soggiorno davvero piacevole. Un proprio mezzo di locomozione é più che opportuno, anche per raggiungere il bel cento cittadino.
Sembra di essere a casa propria.
Disponibilità e discrezione dei proprietari.

“una casetta incantevole con tutte le comodità!"

L'appartamento è molto elegante, dotato di tutti i comfort (clima, lavabiancheria, stiro, tv con digitale) e la cucina è ampia e funzionale, arredata con gusto signorile. E' possibile anche ordinare pizza d'asporto e cenare in casa, con notevole risparmio rispetto ai ristoranti: per una famiglia numerosa, non è cosa di poco conto!
Le camere sono ampie e ben arredate, così che 5 persone vengono ospitate in tutta comodità. I letti sono comodi e la biancheria di ottima fattura; la dotazione di asciugamani è sovrabbondante. Nel bagno è presente anche il phon, oltre a bagnoschiuma e shampoo. La doccia è ampia e funzionale, con box.
La zona è periferica, in quartiere residenziale, lontano dal traffico e silenziosissimo: tuttavia, è servita dall'autobus di linea che porta dritto in stazione. La posizione è ideale per chi voglia visitare il Friuli, in quanto collegata alle principali arterie stradali.
I proprietari sono persone dalla squisita cortesia e di grande professionalità: se dovessero esserci delle esigenze particolari, basta parlarne con loro e la soluzione si trova. La nostra figlia minore è celiaca e abbiamo potuto seguire agevolmente la dieta obbligatoria per questa patologia, grazie alla disponibilità ed alla comprensione dei titolari.

"Comfortable Family Appartment"

We stayed a few nights here and were very satisfied. The owners had done everything to ensure a happy and comfortable stay and we would be more than happy to go again! The washing machine is particular useful for a young family travelling for an extended period and the coffee was just excellent, also critical for the early starts! We appreciated the uses of the garden and swings!
Udine is about 15 minutes away by car, parking was always pretty easy, buses only run once or twice an hour so we didn´t take that route... The town itself is lovely, with relatively few visitors but lots to visit.

“Everything was just perfect!"

You arrive late at the bed and breakfast. The friendly owners welcome you, they show you around the apartment, you have a bottle of regional wine on the table, all is there for breakfast in the next morning already. The fridge is stuffed with many good things to eat. What more could you expect? But that`s not all! There is a lot of space for a family of four, all is clean, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen is well-equipped, you have a lovely garden, the hosts are very helpful and open-minded. They don't get tired to give you all the information you need as a traveller. It`s just amazing, how well off you are, if you choose this place! Thank you MARINA and AGOSTINO! We will definitely come back again with some regional foods from Austria! Maria and Andi with Oliver and Elena

A Lovely Stay @ B&B Elmagos!

Were a family of 7,3 Adults 3 Teenagers and a 5yr old and all were accommodated for at the ElmAgos B&B apartment above the owners home! It is Air Conditioned which you can regulate and two spacious Bedrooms, lounge with a TV which show some English Channels, Kitchen dining room and a spacious Bathroom. The owners provided Breakfast Foods each morning e.g Milk, Sugar Coffee etc... along with Yogurts, Fruit Juices and different Spread toppings for the types of Bread provided. All Delicious something for all!
The surroundings were beautiful a nice spacious garden where you have a seating area, or lounge in private at the back of the house & soak up the sun! There is a Bus-Stop across the road which takes you into the City (20 min drive) where you can get the Coach, Train and Buses to surrounding areas eg. beaches, Shopping Centre, Eat-Outs and places like Venice and other places for sightseeing!
The Owners were very welcoming, speak English and were very helpful at assisting us in finding places to visit and pricing for travel costs e.g train, bus etc., there are also plenty of brochures and maps in the apartment! We also sat with the owners one evening and shared a Bottle of Wine outside in the Garden, we were made to feel very welcome. Like Home!
As this was a last minute booking with flights already paid and nowhere to stay I'm very glad I came across this website by chance and read the reviews! I didn't have much time to research specific areas in Italy, so I took a gamble and Udine sounded nice and there was availibity for 7 of us at the ElmAgos B&B.
The Gamble Certainly Paid Off.
The kids loved there stay, as we all did! I would definetly recommend paying a visit again and next time stay for 2wks instead of 1.

“Great home base for tourists”

My husband & I visited our son who works in Germany. The three of us drove to Italy for a special trip and stayed at ElmAgos B&B in August for three days. Wish it could have been longer. The apartment, above the owner's home, is air-conditioned and has a separate entrance. We had plenty of space with two private bedrooms, a lounge with a TV that carried English CNN, a good size bathroom, and a kitchen with table & chairs. Breakfasts foods, coffee, juice, and milk are supplied. The apartment is stylish, clean, and well furnished, plus there is safe, free parking in front. The garden is lush and blooming. The owners are gracious, speak English, and represent the best of Friuli hospitality. I'm so happy I found this place on the internet!
Our son loves history so we visited Villa Manin in Codroipo where Napoleon stayed for several months, the town of Aquileia, a treasure trove of Roman ruins and early Christian mosaics, and we toured beautiful Miramare Castle along the coast and explored the city of Tireste. Each place was less than an hour's scenic drive from our base at Elm Agos B&B. The apartment has brochures & maps of points of interest in the area and the owners suggested places to eat. We enjoyed a friendly restaurant within an easy walk on our first night that served tasty pasta and wine as well as pizza (and you could buy a bottle of wine to take home with you!) We also had a terrific meal in lovely Udine. The third night we made our own dinner and simply relaxed together. If we'd had extra time, we would have explored more of the Adriatic coast and other historic towns of Friuli. It's a marvelous region and the ElmAgos B&B is the perfect place to stay!

We had a lovely stay here in beautiful Udine. The owners are extremely helpful and hospitable and the apartment is a real treat with 2 separate bedrooms, lounge, bathroom, kitchen. The garden is wonderful too. It is about a 20 min (delightful) walk there from the station or a 5 min bus ride.

“Un lugar para volver”

El B&B está muy bien puesto y sus dueños son extremadamente hospitalarios. El lugar es muy limpio, muy bien decorado y sus dueños nos dejaron muchas cosas para un tener un buen desayuno. Nosotros eramos dos parejas, creo que es lo ideal porque el piso tiene dos cuartos. Una lástima que sólo estuvimos una noche porque el lugar era para quedarse más dias.

A warm and friendly welcome in a great holiday apartment!

My boyfriend and I loved the apartment. It had ample space for two, and we could foresee coming back with more people, especially as we were assured that it only gets cheaper per person, the larger the group. It's location was great as it wasn't too far from the town centre. There is a bus that will take you there, but we just walked. It only took about 15 minutes. The town has great rail and bus connections to areas around it but there is actually a lot to see in Udine itself.
The owners are really friendly and went to the trouble of picking us up from the bus station so that we didn't have to get a taxi, which was really helpful. They showed us around the flat and assured us that if we needed anything to just go downstairs, where they live, and knock on the door.
Overall, it was an idyllic short stay. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you ELmagos!.

“Un vero luogo di riposo con vicinanza alla citta”

Abbiamo passato 7 mervigliosi giorni al ElmAgos.
I gestori di questo bed & breakfast sono stati veramente gentili e non ci hanno fatto mancare di nulla.
Un appartamento stupendo, tutto nuovo e pulitissimo, una prima collazione come in un albergho di 4 stelle - per una somma veramente molto ragionevole.
Grazie mille per questi giorni veramente belli e riposanti nel vostro ambiente.
Speriamo di poter ritornare presto.

"Heimeliges Nest für Wandervögel"

Liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber, ruhig, geräumig und geführt von überaus freundlichen Leuten, die einem gerne auch einmal abends im herrlichen Garten Platz nehmen lassen. Alles in allem eine perfekte Basis für Touren ins Umland, zu der man nacheinem ereignisreichen auch Tag gerne wieder zurückkehrt.

“Best Bet in Friuli/ Udine”

Our family of four stayed at this B&B for three nights in mid-May. The family was extremely accomodating, from setting up an extra cot for our youngest child to letting us borrow their computer when I thought I might have appendicitis (I didn't- just severe stomach cramps- be careful which "tramezzino" you eat in Venice). One night we received a free bottle of local wine.
Our children played together with theirs, even!
The apartment is quite spacious, around 600 sqfeet, with two separate bedrooms, a bathroom (with a sit-down toliet), a kitchen and a living room with cable TV. The grounds are beautifully gardened, with tons of flowers. We could park our car right outside for free, and I did notice a bus stop as well, if you have no car. Basic breakfast was provided (milk, yogurt, breads, juice, coffee) andwe bought groceries for simplesuppers. The owners speak good English so we could communicate well.
We used Udine as a base for exploring, with the closest city being Cividale (around 30 minutes away by car) and the furthest being Venice (around 100 minutes away). As well as enjoying the historic downtown of Udine, we also really enjoyed Aquilea.
I would heartily recommend this hotel to others and would stay here again myself.

“Fast wie zu Hause!”

Ein sauberes, schönes und noch dazu grosszügiges Apartment mit eigenem Eingang. Verkehrsgünstige und trotzdem ruhige Lage am Rande Udines. Das Haus verfügt über einen tollen kleinen Garten den man ruhig als "Pflanzenparadies" bezeichnen kann. Die freundliche, aufgeschlossene und hilfreiche Art der Hausleute trägt zum "wie zu Hause-Gefühl" bei. Zusammengefasst: Wir haben uns bei ElmAgos sehr wohl gefühlt und werden garantiert wiederkommen! “Great Place to Stay!!”

Stayed for 9 days....great apartment! Clean, able to control indoor temperature,... lots of hot water!! Very private, ...independent entrance! The owners were great and went out of their way to help any which way they could! Great location!...Bus stop right outside!
Can't say enough!...Anyone needing a place to stay in Udine, go to ElmAgos, they treat you right!

“The perfect family getaway!”

We stayed at B&B Elmagos two nights in March, 2008. It is a wonderful apartment, with lots of room, and beautifully decorated. Udine is a charming town, and is a perfect distance from many sights and things to do. We took the train to Venice and back on a Saturday and had a tremendous time with no hassle seeing all the sights and saving a lot of money inthe process.
Whether you want to see Venice, go to the coast, check out Slovenia, or simply relax in the beautiful countryside of Italy, B&B Elmagos is a great place to stay. We highly recomend it!

“Accoglienza e relax a portata di mano”

Per chi vuole passare una vacanza in totale relax e indipendenza è proprio il  posto giusto. Molto curato, ben arredato e pulito. E' facilmente e velocemente raggiungibile sia per chi è in macchina sia per chi, come me, si sposta in treno e mezzi pubblici. Molto vicino al centro della città anche a piedi...e devo ammettere che Udine come città merita proprio, oltre a tutto il Friuli. L'accoglienza e la cordialità si può proprio dire che sono 'di casa'...e in verità il soggiorno lì è un pò come stare tranquillamente a casa propria...ma senza stress e preoccupazioni. Insomma per chi vuole godersi una vacanza tranquilla e in piena indipendenza da orari fissi e convenevoli è proprio il B&B giusto...anche per chi quando si allontana troppo da casa 'gli manca l'aria'!! E' ottimo sia per chi si ferma pochi giorni, sia per vacanze mooolto lunghe...ad ogni modo, un giovamento assicurato!! ;-)

“accoglienza da favola”

Calda accoglienza, liberta' di movimento, comodo, spazioso e ben curato. Gli ambienti sono ampi anche per 6 persone, confortevole e facile da raggiungere. Si trova abbastanza vicino alla stazione dei treni, per cui raggiungibile anche senza auto. dista circa 3-4 km dal centro storico di udine. Ci sono parecchie pizzerie/ristoranti nelle immediate vicinanze.
